Analyzing Network Variance of Boids for Varying Parameters

This project was an analysis of the behaviors of Boids at various extremes of each of the parameters that affected the agent’s movement. Utilizing a large dataset of Boids, many different analysis techniques were touched on to demonstrate the basic movements of the model with the various parameters. While this project’s most prominent goal was an analysis, this was just as much a computational challenge as it was a basic analysis. However, we were still able to pull some conclusions, such as a high correlation between cohesion and the overall behavior of the network, and show that with some separation values the network can easily become less connected.
