Worked under MIT/Lincoln Labs researchers to develop and build a UAV-SAR (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle -Synthetic Aperture RADAR) system. This system consisted of a PulsON 440 RADAR connected to a drone inside a large video motion tracking room. By mapping the RADAR data to the position data utilizing a technique known as back projection, we can layer the data onto one another in space to produce a picture of the objects in the room. With some signal processing, and image noise reduction techniques we were able to extrapolate from our RADAR data to produce accurate images from a room without any knowledge of the objects inside.
