This project combined the need of realistic CAD models for custom manufacturing and simulation to produce a product that ran on ROS. The drone has the ability to employ object avoidance with the Intel stereoscopic camera and test control systems in the simulation environment in Gazebo before being pushed to the drone.This project allowed for both fast and safe iteration of programming design without the need for physical tests, and added flexibility for simulated iteration that is ideal for machine learning algorithm improvement.
